The hype is kind of insane right now. I’m wondering myself what happened to the iPhones in the ads. Were they fakes, and did the “models” get to keep the iPhone? Maybe not, but it does leave me curious.

Wow. This iPhone is pretty ridiculous. I just got an enV, and I am so happy that I didn’t spend $600 on a phone that doesn’t have any keys. Pat, I wanna see that too!

Matt – maybe it’s just the impression that stuck with me ever since watching Vince do a video soda review. It’s not a bad thing though. . . . These posts ooze with personality. Who can argue with verbal banter like:

Each day that I read an article on CrunchGear, I become increasingly enamored by the oddly knowledgeable “pizza dude” persona that seems so consistent throughout the posts. I applaud you guys for keeping the voice of CrunchGear so recognizable. That’s impressive.

I’d like odds on a giant “Ocean’s 11″ style heist of a FedEx truck purported to carry a shipment of iPhones. . . an effort which ends up being foiled due to the preemptive deployment of a thousand decoy trucks filled with overstock Motorola iTunes phones.
