LG and Sprint are rolling out the MUZIQ today and it’s gunning for the top of the Mobile Music heap. Not only does it store up to 4,000 songs, but it also incorporates a built-in FM transmitter that feeds your music to any FM radio within 10 feet. A lot of mobile music phones lack the capacity to support any SD cards larger than 2GB, but the MUZIQ is not run-of-the-mill and supports up to 4GB. Take away the touch-screen and this is virtually an iPhone. Heh. Not really.

It does, however, support Pop3 e-mail, the ability to tether to your laptop as a modem, includes a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and recording capability, and Bluetooth. Utilizing Sprint’s EV-DO network will allow OTA downloads in under 30 seconds and you’ll be able to stream music from Sprint Radio, Pandora, Sirius, VH1 and MTV. The usual bells and whistles are included, so no need to fret over why I didn’t include them. The MUZIQ flaunts a four-hour talk time and up to 10 hours of music playback. A two-year contract with Sprint brings the price down to $99 and will be available July 15.

Okay, wait…I couldn’t really tell if you thought these were comparable models or not…please clarify before i report you to techdirt. I’m just so confused…Thanks.

*This comment is to be taken in jest. At no time was I truly confused as to what the author of this article actually meant. However, to be fair…there has been confusion in the past…

  • johnal youre fucking retarded

  • It’s a cool phone man. Fuck an I-phone. That phone looks like a piece of crap. I-phone my mother fuckin dick.

  • ok make some intelligent comments people.

i got this phone and i’ve got to say its pretty much like any other average phone on the market. the main “supercool” feature is that it has got an FM transmitter. its only useful, in my opinion, for those people who don’t have any other means of getting music in there car other than through an FM transmitter.

anyways i got mine after stubling into this review ( http://skattertech.com/2007/08/lg-muziq-lx-570-sprint/ ) so either way i think iPhone is not a comparable phone.

  • This phone is awesome. Better FM transmitter then the Fusic, and one the best reception phone’s I’ve seen. I sell for Sprint and IMO this is the coolest and best performing phone in the lineup right now.
