The old adage that nothing in life is free is true. The cost of a friend, family member, or traveling salesman accidentally discovering Stealth in my DVD collection is more than I could bear. HD does nothing to make a movie more funny, or witty, or charming, and does nothing to improve acting or cinematography. Pass. DVDs are fine when paired with an upscaling player, and a HELL of a lot cheaper. Now if Bluray had LOTR or Star Wars, then perhaps I'd consider switching. Until then, these formats are nothing but Laserdisc. None of those movies are ones I need to watch in HD to appreciate (Invincible is listed twice).
