Where is the likes of Elite, Defender, Doom and legend of mana? All of the above (apart from mana) were benchmarks for games of today, and most games (including a few in the above list) dont even get near these! I have to say the the only games in the top ten that merit being there are numbers #2,#6,#7 &#10. All of the above (apart from mana) were benchmarks for games of today, and most games (including a few in the above list) dont even get near these!

I have to say the the only games in the top ten that merit being there are numbers #2,#6,#7 &#10.

The others have been bettered or are copies of better games.

HALO 2 is by far the greatest game ever. I'll agree that the campaign is a little lacking but the multiplayer mode especially over XBox Live cannot be beaten. You probably meant Metroid Prime. And if you did, yes, it does belong there. Also, I totally agree with replacing Halo for Goldeneye. Nothing can compare to its glory. Hours played, sales volume, system ports, etc. I'm suspect of any list that doesn't put it right on the top. I object in principle to the inclusion of any Final Fantasy title... ugh. And I'd substitute Halo for Goldeneye... It was Goldeneye that brought FPS to consoles, and Halo stole a lot from it. Doom is conspicuously absent. As is Starcraft. As is Street Fighter II.
