AT&T is giving DSL subscribers who have Pro, Elite, or FastAccess services on their account free Wi-Fi access at any of the 10,000 hotspots around the country that it operates.
Normally, it costs $7.99 for a 24-hour connection on the service, which is found in airports, McDonald’s, and Barnes & Nobles around the country. So if you think about it, AT&T is being pretty nice and hooking you up with an especially sweet deal. I guess with over 500,000 iPhones sold, AT&T has a little money to throw around.
Wow. That is a pretty sweet deal…Though I’m not giving up my FiOS (and yes, my cell is AT&T).
