I’m supposed to be visiting Japan in October, so if there’s some kind of freak bumrush for a 360 with HDMI-connectivity, I’ll be there to capture the moment. Microsoft announced today that it would officially be bringing the black, pricey Xbox 360 Elite to Japan. Come October 11th, the Japanese will be able to walk by not just two, but three versions of the Xbox 360 in hopes of getting a Nintendo Wii.
Should you be so inclined to purchase one, you’ll need to shell out 47,800 Yen or about $390 – almost $100 cheaper than the US version.
