when all four lights are on, its not the "ring of death" it just means that you misplugged or that your ebox cant detect the video output. just plug it back in :)

so what is with the ring of death me and a friend were playing gears of war one night and i bumped my power cord. i did not know about the ring of death but luckily my friend did i had all 4 red lines flash around the ring but mitch turned it off and my xbox 360 has been fine. i have tried to be careful but as much money as i have put into it i do not think there should be so many failures and i am still scared about what might happen. to add to this it gets extremely hot and i dont play it that much.. all though this does not happen all the time it still bothers me what should i do to prevent this crap.
