You too can smell like rancid garbage while hiding in a trench

I love a good FPS as much as anyone else does, don’t get me wrong. However, I can only play so many World War II shooters until I’m so sick storming Normandy, I throw all my Heineken out. Ghostlight is working on a new title that could add a breath of fresh air to the wartime shoot-em-up genre.

Titled To End All Wars, the game will take place during World War I and will allow the player to experience trench warfare first-hand in a raw account of an ancient war. It’ll be using the Unreal 3 Engine, so expect some seriously good-looking graphics and maps. Don’t get too psyched for trench warfare yet though, as the game won’t be hitting consoles until Q2 of 2008. At least you fanboys won’t have to fight though, as the game is coming to both PS3 and Xbox 360.
