Mom Knits An iPhone

It’s Friday and guess what? iPhone time! Today I bring you a knitted iPhone that was created by some geek’s mother. Detail is exceptional, with all the available apps ready to touch on the front and a sleek gray/metal back, why would you even buy a real iPhone when you can get this?

It took about 5 hours to knit and guess what: this mom can even knit a Pop Tart. Yeah, a strawberry-frosted Pop Tart. I’m pretty sure this mom with the hot knitting skills is more important than a bald eagle that’s able to rap songs from 2 Live Crew’s first mixtape. Hit the jump to see the Pop Tart.

thanks for the linkage. The Pop Tart’s actually from the knitblog BitterSweet; I thought the pattern might be good to iterate off of for the phone, but it didn’t work. classic “client making unhelpful design suggestions” move, I guess.

  • Why does it have to be someone’s MOM who knit this?
    I knit, and I’m not a mom!(actually I am a mom, but I WASN’T ALWAYS!!)
    Anyway…now I want poptarts….
