Next-gen iMacs Could Have New Keyboard Design
by Vince Veneziani on July 9, 2007

We all know that new iMacs will most likely come out before year’s end, but did you know that new keyboards will be included with them? According to “credible sources” and “tipsters”, the guys at AppleInsider are claiming that the freshly designed keyboards will take a tip from the Macbook’s “low profile” keyboard to make the size of the keyboard extra thin.

Since the new iMacs are rumored to have a brushed metal design and a thinner look, this move would make total sense. Plus Apple hasn’t exactly been doing much with its keyboards in the past decade. Sure, we saw a wireless Bluetooth model come out of hiding, but aside from that its been relatively quiet. Hopefully this new keyboard will be a hell of a lot easier to clean than the existing version.
