If your whiny brat has been asking for a Wii then I suggest you purchase one now in time for the holidays. Or you could be a dirt bag and buy as many as possible and then sell them for a ridiculous amount during the holidays, if you’re inclined to believe George Harrison, senior VP of marketing and corporate comm’s for Nintendo of America. He can’t guarantee Nintendo will be able to keep the popular Wii on the shelves because of parts manufacturers not being able to properly gauge the market’s demand and the fact that 100 or so new Wii games will hit the streets this year. Nintendo is ramping up for the kill with the release of new controllers and online play, so act now or your kids will hate you forever.

  • I camped out for a wii when it was first released so I haven’t really followed the wii’s demand vey closely since then. I wonder if they already have a second generation wii in production and they are trying to avoid having a surplus of leftover first generation wii’s? I dunno… i’m talkin’ out of my wii hole right now.

  • Time to start checking out OuttaStock.com and their Wii Finder widgets again.

  • This is definitely true. After black Friday this thing will already be incredibly hard to find. Hurry up and grab one!
