But no camera? Or did I get that wrong?

The thing is three times the size of a pearl.. and has no camera. Disappointing considering the camera on the pearl is really good. For some eerie reason pics come out unexpectedly well for the resolution.

Almost perfect from my perspective. or, I love Blackberry's BUT...

Just add HSDPA for high speed Wireless transfers and a 2 or 3MP camera with ability to shoot video at 15fps and I'm down.

Think the new dazzling Nokia E90 which has all this and a much larger keyboard but in a clamshell so when you're on the phone it's like a normal candy bar form factor. New Nokia N95 does this to but with no keyboard.

Back to BlackBerry. One cool thing many people don't know is that the 8800 series from RIM have something called autonomous GPS - which means that they can connect to any wireless GPS service that people might develop. Almost ALL GPS phones on the U.S. carriers are currently blocking their GPS so that only their approved services work (both because they're protecting their revenue model AND they're panicked about privacy/safety issues associated with GPS).

Me, I want to control my own GPS settings and these Blackberry's let you do that. There's a lot of really cool GPS location based stuff being developed but there would be MUCH more if we could get these GPS phones unlocked. BTW: All the Nextel phones use autonomous GPS as do newer units like the Nokia N95 just announced a couple of weeks ago.

Sounds like there was some premature wetting goin' on. If it had 3G I'd be all over this...oh...and a better display would be nice, but not required.
