Joel posted some hotness over at Dethroner today, showcasing the best and worst of video game endings. This Neo Contra ending above is chock full o’ blood and features a samurai guy killing a bunch of people, cutting the world in half, then sailing almost-naked through space with another dude holding on to his shit. It’s epic.

The good comes with the bad though. Hit the jump for the Mortal Kombat 4 ending. I agree that it’s the worst ending in the history of gaming.
