PS3’s killer app might also become XBox 360’s killer app. XBox 360 is reporting that OXM says that MSG4 might come to the 360, but they’re not sure. MSG4 is probably going to be the defining game for the platform, the PS3’s Gears of War as it were. However, if it comes out on 360 later, it could hurt Sony’s bottom line and no one wants that.
This is all rumor and innuendo and I don’t think Sony will allow their precious franchise to fall into enemy hands. But wouldn’t be nice, XBox 360 owners? Maybe we can start a petition.

ME: “What did you think of the MGS4 gameplay demo?”
HIM: “It was very good.”
“Why are there still rumors that MGS4 will appear on the Xbox 360?”
“What do you mean?”
“Kojima appeared on stage at a Sony event, saying it was an exclusive. But the rumors won’t stop.”
“Many of our users want MGS4 on the Xbox 360.”
“Will they get it?”
“Ask him.”
Sensui points to Kojima on stage.
“I don’t mean to be rude,” I say, “but why are you here then?”
“Kojima is an old friend of mine.”

Actually it would make sense for MGS4 to be on every system it CAN be on possible such as the PS3, 360, and even PC. Now I don’t know if it IS possible to be on the Wii, but I do know the Wii will get some type of MGS series from the very franchise. The reason why I am saying this is not because I want to knock off PS3. The reason why I am saying this is because MGS4 is supposly the last of the MGS series? Right? Then why shouldn’t everyone be able to enjoy the final fight and struggle Snake is going through. I’m not saying it WILL go to the 360 or PC I am just saying it would make MORE sense sense there is people who don’t want to buy a PS3 for just 1 game (I mean I personally would but I am not officially sure if it will be on 360). If it doesn’t go cross-platform then I will get a PS3. Even if MGS4 is supposed to come out 6-monts after the PS3 release I would STILL get a PS3 because there is no way in heck that Im gonna wait that long…If I have to wait for 2 monts for a cross-platform then I’ll wait. Simultaneous release would be mandatory in order for my friends and I to buy the Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4; otherwise, we will publicly hear how the story ends, and we won’t want to buy the game. We do not have a Playstation 3 system, and we have no plans of buying one. If Konami wants our business, please release all versions of Metal Gear Solid 4, including the Online version, simultaneously for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
they should make the game for the 360 because most of us own a 360 and we dont want to buy a ps3 for one game
Exactly why not sell for the xbox360, like cmon wayy more people carry the xbox360 than the PS3. If konami is smart they will develop for the xbox360 and they will make mad money.
He wont make it for the 360 becuase he wants to make a truely awsome game and he can only do that on a truely awsome consol. Its going to be one of the first games to truely show the ps3s power.
mgs would make so much more money if they made it for 360. its like a double payment. they should make different exclusives for each console.it would make more copies sold than halo seriously

The rumors are a bunch of balonie. Do you have any idea how muck time it would take to port MGS4 to the 360? This game was developed for the ps3, much like MGS3 is to the PS2. To port MGS4 they would have to restructer the code and that would take another year because it was developed for the PS3’s Cell Broadband Engine. Too bad you guys are dumb enough to buy a 360, it can’t compete with the PS3’s 1.3 million processes a second. You might be able to port a game from 360 to PS3 and it may barely give the same performance. But port PS3 to 360 that would be a disaster because you can’t go from (PS3/ 8 core CPU) to (Xbox360 /3 core CPU). This would take a hell of a lot more time. So do me a favor and don’t believe every thing you here!!!
