New Panasonic Lumix Cameras In September
by Doug Aamoth on July 24, 2007

lumixPanasonic will be adding two new cameras to its Lumix line. The DMC-FX55 and DMC-FX33 will be available in September for $349.95 and $299.95, respectively, and will both include a “new Intelligent Auto Mode” comprised of a face detection system, continuous auto-focus, and an intelligent scene selector.

These new cameras will also be able to shoot images at up to ISO 6400, which should result in some pretty decent low-light shots even without using the flash.

Other features include a 3-inch LCD screen on the DMC-FX55 and a 2.5-inch LCD screen on the DMC-FX33, 27 megabytes of built-in memory (expandable via SD cards), and on-camera categorization and slideshow creation.
