I can’t imagine needing 24 different colors for a simple DAP, but apparently Toshiba thinks otherwise. Its Gigabeat U103, which comes out today in some place called Japan, is more or less the same as last year’s model: 1GB, tiny 1.1-inch OLED display, FM radio/transmitter, etc. Standard DAP, but in 24 bold and exciting colors like red and… blue!
Well, at least it’s cheap, coming in at around $113. I couldn’t possibly pick a favorite!

Wow! It’s like the Zune only in more attractive colours(and by that I mean nt particularly attractive) and a better design!
Looks like a plastic piece of junk, to me. And I have to question the business sense in creating this many variations of the same product. . . . How do you know how many of each to produce?!
Please note that the U.S. version of the gigabeat U-Series is only available in silver and black.
