WD Upgrades My Book Line To 2TB
by Peter Ha on July 24, 2007

Following the announcement of new GreenPower HDs yesterday, Western Digital has announced that all My Book dual-drive storage models will be available up to 2TB. I don’t think I’ve even approached 1TB of content in all my years of pirating purchasing music and movies. That needs to change immediately. Of course, I’ll never be able to catch up to the likes of Nicholas and Vince and their vast collections of trance music and midget porn, but I can try. The My Book line will range in price from $749 to $799 depending on which model you’re eying.

  • I just purchased two (2) of the Western Digital Passport drives for my OQO. Both of them died within 24 hours. Western Digital took more than 2 weeks to reply to my troubleshooting email.

Sorry Western Digital. I used to be a big supporter of yours. Due to your shoddy manufacturing as well as your lackluster support, I’m not buying any more Western Digital drives.

    Clean up your act.
