Toshiba has announced that the ultra-wideband, UWB, technology we heard about at CES is now readily available in the uber expensive R400 Tablet PC/laptop line. While UWB lets you transfer data faster than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, the biggest complaint about UWB is that its range is limited to 3 feet. The docking station aka port replicator includes four USB ports, audio port and an Ethernet port for the low, low price of $500.
