Let’s hope you didn’t buy one of Sony’s popular Cybershot cameras lately. The company is issuing a recall on 416,000 Cybershot DSC-T5 cameras sold in the US, Europe, China, and Japan. Apparently the outer casing could warp and form sharp edges, which in turn would cut your hands. Ouch. Hit up Sony to see if your camera is affected.

I wish to inquire about the issue on “Sony Issues Digicam Recall.” My concern is, I have a Cybershot bought locally two years ago, and i noticed that the casing/housing is started to warp… A couple of days ago, i e-mailed sony customer service and i asked if it is possible to change the housing of my cybershot DSC-T5 because of its sharp edges, unfortunately they told me that there is no possibility. Is my Cybershot included in the recall? Thanks so much.
