The 80GB PS3 has finally hit the market for the low, low price of $599.99 with a copy of MotorStorm. As expected, the 20GB rig has dropped down to $449.99, which is great, but the 60GB is only $50 more. Don’t forget the five free Blu-ray DVDs you’ll also be getting when you purchase a PS3.

  • *DROOL* Okay, I’ll just wait till the PS3 reaches the $200 mark, then I’ll make my purchase…

  • I think this deal with the 80gb+motorstorm+5 free blu ray movies is a great deal! And I plan on buying one before the deal is up!

Especially if a ps3 game is about $60
A Blu Ray movie is about $35

    So with 5 movies that’s $175 + $60 = $235

Now if you take the current price of the 80gb PS3 and subtract this ‘deal’, you’ll get the ‘real’ price of what you’ll be paying for the PS3.

    $600 – $235 = $365

So you’d be really paying $365 for the 80GB PS3 while the 20GB PS3 (which isn’t being made anymore) is $450, a whole $85 more for a lot less content!
