Have an HDTV but bemoan the lack of high-def content for it? Hallmark hears your cries for help and will launch an HD movie network early next year. The network, to be called the Hallmark Movie Channel HD (what, was the name guy on vacation?), will showcase the company’s “family friendly” programming (read: incredibly boring and always with a moral told at the end), headlined by the show “Son of the Dragon.” It’s actually a gritty drama centered around race relations.
I can’t wait to watch “Boy Returns That Wallet He Found In The Parking Lot And Learns A Valuable Lesson About Stealing” in high-def. We’ve no idea if it’s broadcast in 720p or 1080i, however.

Hallmark movies aren’t always family friendly. Try for example, Jason and the Argonauts. Not only was it boring but it also was extremely sexually provocative for a ‘family’ film.
Sorry you feel that way. Hallmark has just about the only “family” programming on TV. And moral lessons are good. This country needs more good moral lessons
