You heard it here first, folks. We have it from an inside source that the AT&T Tilt (aka 8925 aka Kaiser) hits stores September 3rd for $499 with 2-year plan. No word on 1-year pricing, but this flagship phone should be all over the place in a little less than a month.

Where will I be able to buy HTC’s version of the phone with the front cam. and unlocked or will AT&T ever sell the version with the camera in front???
Dega why would you need it with the front camara? I mean what is the use of the front camara there is no service that support that? I was thinking just getting it unlock and use it with tmobile, the fav five deal, and cheaper data plan, and then going to hit 3G in a while so, ?
Release date is Oct 5.

You might be right, but what is there to say, that in the near future they might get something to support it, and if not some sort of video conferencing via WiFi or something like that, I think of it as a condom, would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it…
We just got a couple of these in our store today. I must say, very impressive.
Your local stores should have them in stock, releasing tomorrow.
Let me rephrase that…SOME of your local stores should have them. In our state so far, only four locations (two stores and two kiosks) have gotten these phones. And each location only got 2, with one getting 3.
Also, pricing is supposed to be $299 after $100 mail in rebate on a new 2 year contract. Pretty solid price, I’d say.
okay, so you got the phone, well would you still want to buy it?
first, its not unlock, so meaning you are stucked with at&t or you can use other app to unlock it but may be costing you a bit, No front camara, this version of tytn II has no front camara, so you might be able make video calls but you have to flip back word, and you wouldn’t be able to see the other person at the same time, lots of junk apps which you will not use it but at&t has em because they are charging a portion from those demo games and apps, no tuch techonogly like the one HTC touch has or the tytn II, don’t know if you like the color of the phone but I don’t, GPS is unlock and I don’t know if it going to work good with other apps, but there is no free tomtom software, well I don’t know but who leave their city all the time. Other things that you should be worried is the two year contract with at&t, I don’t know but at&t is a bit expensive in term of their service and data plan. now it is up to you to buy an unlock one or try the at&t thing, anyways good luck, you will have it on october 5th, I don’t know why many had to wait this much
Well if you have even a low level of knowledge, you should easily be able to find the apps yourself to unlock and crack this phone. Doesn’t take much. Then you can start from scratch and install the apps you want, omitting those you don’t.
AT&T service uses TeleNav for their GPS and personally I find it a lot easier to use as well as more functional than TomTom.
The lack of the front camera is a bummer, but I can deal. Especially since I don’t currently know of a carrier in the US that does two-way video conferencing.
And if worse comes to worse with the phone, just buy it at full price and forget the 2 year contract. In comparisson to other company’s data plans, AT&T’s isn’t too bad – $40 a month for unlimited internet and 1500 text/picture/video messages.
Oh, and the fact that I work for AT&T is null. Personally I hate this company as far as corporations go. But as far as cell providers go, it’s the best out there for me. T-Mobile has absolutely no coverage in a lot of places (especially where I live), Nextel is far too expensive and their SMS/MMS is almost non-existant, Sprint is pretty much the same. Verizon is pretty much the next best out here; great coverage, fast net speeds…but I absolutely loathe how they replace the manufacturer’s software on the phones with their own proprietary ones. I mean…disabling bluetooth exchange just to make you buy their own ringtones and graphics? And the navigation is just awful.
My only bias for AT&T comes with the actual service I use and not from working for them. For what difference it makes to anyone.
Rysusui, sorry to say but you really sound like being brained watched. Do you work for the us Army?
brained washed*
::LMAO:: I’d have to be braindead to work for anything that’s a part of our corrupt government. Of course I speak for myself personally and do not imply that the same holds true for anyone else…
But I digress…
In all honesty, like I said, I hate this company. Their operations are blind, execs are clueless and have no leadership abilities and their marketing is nothing short of worthless. But they definitely have the best service for my needs.

I am in love with the AT&T Tilt phone i want it so bad but i can not get it right now cause i have a different phone and my parents dont have enough money. So please give me some money send it into me at the address 11 Marcy Court or at the number 607-277-0327 thank you soooooo much.
Got the phone- Very nice, works well. Get rid of the ATT bloatware before you start using it though.
I am moving from a Nokia 9300 to get this. With my corporate discount, this baby is $150 after $100 rebate. That is an insane price. I upgraded tot he 2GB SD card as well.
My Nokia had no vibrate, camera or ringtones. Otherwise it was pretty much fabulous.
Hoping for this Tilt to meet and exceed expectations. It sure seems loaded with everything a person could want.
I just bought this phone for a 100.00 haha go to http://www.walmart.com
It was horrid. the first one would just shut down at will. no warning, no hugs, no kisses. Then it would not turn back on unless you reset it. Not one key would work. Took it back, got another one. Hey, things happen, right? Well, that one, although I set the email synch to the shortest amount of time, which is 5 minutes, my emails would not hit the phone until hours later. And then, they would come 10 at a time. Additionally, by the time I fumbled long enough to get the keypad in view to even dial a number, the backlight would go off even though I had it set to as high a number of minutes that I could before it would eat the battery up. This phone is heavy, bulky, and definitely not user friendly. I will say the touch screen feature is very nice. I finally returned it and went back to my trusty Crackberry. If you’re a businessperson on the go in need of your emails at least within, oh, a day or so, this new gadget is NOT FOR U.
Is it possible to hack the AT&T Tilt phone and make it better than an iphone hacked?
