The point about concepts is that they don't necessarily make sense according to current standards, and obviously this one is trying to address the fact that miniaturization (is that a word?) has long left the size of the medium behind. What would be interesting is if this player would actually rip the CD onto the DAP, so that once it's done reading the CD you can take it out, fold the DAP back together and carry the music you wanted to listen to with you without the CD.
