I have to admit, I need to get more into Internet Radio. So off to the Slacker site I go.

That said, I'm a fan of the subscription service concept whether XM/Sirius or Rhapsody. Enough that I'm putting up with where it falls short. Like not all songs available and less than ideal portable player options.

Mike, you're right, if Apple goes internet radio heavy or subscription, that is going to change a the game a bit.

Two things: (1) that Slacker portable player has been "about to drop" for long enough now that I'll call it vaporware until it actually makes an appearance. And (2) subscription services are stupid if you don't like jamming to the latest shiny ear candy. I don't want to have to pay Apple in perpetuity, thank you very much. Internet radio I'm down with, but there's a reason subscription services aren't more popular.
