Steve Jobs is thisclose to getting the Beatles’ full catalog on his iTunes Music Store. For now though, fans can hit up the entire library of John Lennon’s music. Everything from “Working Class Hero” to “Sometime in New York” will be available in both regular iTunes format and iTunes Plus for $1.29 a track with 256kbps AAC quality (mediocre at best, but whatevs).
Of course, Yoko Ono had her two cents:
“John would have loved the fact that his music will now be available in a format suited to a new generation of listeners,”
There will be a Lennon Anthology for those looking for all the tracks in one place. Rock on John.

I don’t understand what they are holding out for, people can already download this stuff if they want, the fact that itunes still doesn’t sell it just doesn’t make any sense. Regardless of the Apple suits/countersuits…

John yoko and the beatles basically hate itunes and will not put any of their music on.
