Hardcore Apple fans will surely remember NeXT, Steve Jobs’ horrible 1980s venture. Not many of the systems still exist, let alone a complete system. This auction on eBay includes everything from the crazy cube computer, to the branded power cables, to every accessory and piece of software available for NeXTStep.
Yeah, it’s about as complete as you can get. It can even connect to the ‘net via DHCP! Funny thing is it’s only going for $620 right now. There’s still six days on the auction though, so this could get ugly.
Complete NeXT computer system for auction on the eBay [Boing Boing]

I have a system much more complete than this one, including the NeXTdimension board (and one of the orginal BYTE magazine awards from 1990 for it), a DSP attachment that makes it into a Mac c.1989, the original MOLDs for the cables mentioned, the original pictures of the NeXT from the Freemont factory, lab coats, and all docs. and info, including the original NeXT logo study given to sjobs pre-1988 to get him to adopt the Logo. Was NeXT machine number
less than 100 (lost the greater than sign due to Blog lossage).
Good luck getting any of that out of any but my cold dead hands of course.

I would never sell it all, of course, it is only one of several interesting historical computers I own that still run. One NeXT ran my Website for 8 years.

What a horrible deal! I got a nextstation for $60 + $60 S&H last year from http://www.blackholeinc.com
Up to 710$ now… my guess is that it will go for a few thousand before the auction expires.
