The good ole FCC has confirmed that HTC’s next mobile phone juggernaut will be launching in the US this fall. Say hello to the Iris aka S640. It isn’t much to look at now, but those of you on Sprint or Verizon should listen up. Let’s be honest for a minute. This is like, the red headed stepchild among the HTC family, but it does have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WinMo 6, 2-megapixel camera, GPS, miniUSB and a USB port. It’s seems to be a very solid device that will compete well amongst other CDMA smartphones.
