Since we got Time Warner Cable in our new apartment, I haven’t been the hugest fan of the service. I do enjoy the quick video-on-demand features that let me watch “Flight of the Conchords” anytime I want however and it looks like TWC will be improving the on-demand service. A new feature called “Start Over” could be available by years end and will allow the user to start a TV show they missed over again. However, you won’t be able to skip ads, so the service risks backfiring on those who DVR to skip the clutter.

My dad has the Start Over feature back in Greensboro, NC. I live in Raleigh in which I don’t even have On Demand/DVR/Anything..just basic cable box (but not for much longer, HD DVR here I come!) . So when I saw the Start Over for the first time, I thought that was a real good idea. He’s had it for a few months now though.
