I've had nothing but good experiences with Helio customer support.

Also, my Fin has signal when other phones don't. The only time I didn't have a signal during a 3000 mile cross country drive was in the mountains of Montana, and only briefly. (granted, it wasn't always 3g)

Bluetooth and internet access take their toll on battery life but the battery easily lasts a week in standby and with moderate use, checking email once or twice a day and a few phone calls, it will last 2 or 3 days. If you're going to surf for an hour straight, be prepared to recharge.

I like the size of the Fin, but it's still too long. The battery life sucks asz. I have to charge it sometimes 3 times a day! What do you expect from such a small battery anyway. Easy to lose if you don't have the hard to get off backplate attached properly. FORGET about the Fin if you're going to be calling customer svc. IT takes FOREVER to get someone on the line, and when you do, it's usually some young idiot who doesn't know anything about the phone and has to look everything up or "check with someone else". I've been transferred so many times, and have been put on hold sometimes for over an hour. Yes, an hour. Helio has the absolute worst customer service imaginable. The most professional? Verizon. The friendliest and best? TMobile. Go with the Pros. Don't waste your time with a Helio. Besides, they use the Sprint network, and Sprint is losing massive customers and laying off lots of ppl.

I'm wondering if this device can sync with my address book on my Mac. Amazingly, almost no phones currently on the market do so.

Unfortunately not. Hopefully it's something they're working on.

Yeah Peter except the fact that they look the surprisingly alike down to the keys.. and the RAZR which is pretty crap is really really old news now.

Anyway we'll see what RAZR 2 will come out with, not that I'm going anywhere near that phone either, not after the problems I had with my old RAZR.
