Obviously everyone is ecstatic over the announcement of the EOS-40D, but how about the 1Ds? The 21.1-megapixel full-frame DSLR is made from a light-weight magnesium alloy and offers up blasts of five FPS and up to 56 Large/Fine JPEGS or 12 RAW images. Excuse me, Canon, as I kneel before thee. The EOS-1Ds Mark III will begin shipping in November for $7,999.

Any idea of this one suffers from the same focus issues as the EOS-1D Mark III has been getting ripped on for? I suppose i could just check the link… *sigh* — I’m lazy on Mondays.
