S, who said mixed? Each track rips off one or the other. They don’t combine them at all, they just change their sound from song to song.

They’re barely one step above a cover band.

A band that mixed the sound and ideas of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Talking Heads, New Order and the Cure sounds like a pretty original band to me.

Kapranos is so right. Record labels need to make the mainstream good again and support music that is quality music. Lower record prices and make the the mainstream more creative. It will probably end the cynicism of baby-boomers who always say that there is no good music anymore. Look for it. Good music is out there.

Franz Ferdinand is my favorite band, and has been for about a year.
So it’s great to hear that they feel this way, but just because I luv em so much, I could never pirate their music. It’s just way too good. Besides, my itunes bill is shipped to my grandma, so I don’t mind supporting them as much as I can
