Judging from recent reports of massive lay-offs it looks like Earthlink will be out of every business before too long.
There’s been a lot of reporting (understandably) of these big municipal wifi plans having trouble but how about the ones that are up and running? You know, some success stories?
There’s been free wifi available in the Young Circle area in Hollywood, Florida for almost three years. It works great and anybody an use it.
Now I live in Miami Beach and our system which was supposed to be up and running as of June last year is yet to go live.
I’d love to hear about other muni wifi programs that are working while I wait for Miami Beach to get it’s act together.
