Video: Pacemaker Pocket DJ In Action

OhMyGod, it is real! Remember that Pacemaker pocket DJ thing that I raved (get it?) about a few months back? For whatever reason, Digital-Lifestyles played with the units for a little bit and have officially made me jealous. Check out the videos and drool with me.

You know, I don’t know if Ferry Corsten uses the Pacemaker, but I think he should.

  • Wow, super neat video! Thanks for sharing!

  • Is this for real? I mean.. I want this to be real, but it seems hard to believe; 2 channels of audio, cue out, main out, LCD screen, DSP, touch control, USB, and for its size, it also has to house a battery and 120GB drive?!?!?!

YouTube vids are grainy at best, most of the images are renders, and photos are usually dark. How about a macro shot of the connectors and display?

500+ euros is quite a bit to slap down, and I’d hate for this to be a cash grab. I can appreciate cool/alternative/scene-antics, but up until recently, the Tonium website featured scribbled images, guys in suits appearing to operate heavy machinery, etc…

I’ve heard theories that this may well be a USB controller and that the music isn’t actually on the unit, and that it must be connected to a computer.

Please let this be real and not vapour-gear.
