Hmmm. Not sure what to think about this one. Amazon has been known to leak many a thing, but they’ve also been known to make a snafu here and there. Apple seriously doesn’t think people will be paying $600+ for a new iPod, right? Why the difference in price between white and black? What say ye?

That’s an iPod shipped from and sold by Wall Street Photo. Sellers that use the Amazon store can set whatever price they want on items they sell. This means nothing.
Wall St. Photo is ridiculously overpriced. Right now, they’re showing $499 for the 30 GB black and $599 for the 80 GB white. Uh, no. Amazon’s not leaking prices; they’re showing what prices result if you set the price while smoking crack.
