You should go into the kitchen and grab a huge spoon and that bottle of salt because you’ll need it for this one. According to brownkidd, other than the new iPods we’re sure to see announced on Wednesday are iTunes kiosks. WTF?! The purpoted kiosks will be placed in retail shops nationwide where you’ll be able to dock your iPod and/or iPhone and purchase content with your CC or GC. A few other chunks of salt include an entire minute preview for tracks, the fancy new keyboards, automatic software updates and a touch screen UI. We’ll certainly have to wait until Wednesday, but someone certainly pulled this one out of their butt.

This seems like something that would have been a great idea. years ago. It seems kinda a late idea at this point.
Complete and utter bull-shit. Not worth while for apple – they sell enough tracks through the iTunes Store online – recently reaching 3 billion??? Introducing kiosks isn’t going to affect that figure at all. Also, considering Apple’s low profit margins on tracks sold through iTunes, they’d be better off investing the time and effort into other parts of the company.
But, come wedneday, i may just be eating my hat….
