They start at under $800.00 and have a lot more features than most. In addition to all this, HP is a a real American Engineering firm as is Apple, some of the others are "assemblers". Let's get together and support American engineering before we all become farmers. Nothing against farmers though, I love them all, but I am better with electronics. You can't get a DVD burner in that one, though, rather unfortunately. That's why I got the next one up for $1199 and I'm not looking back. There's nothing wrong with paying for a computer that just works and my girlfriend is getting sick of me hearing how good it is and how I keep raving about it.
