I’ve been feverishly searching torrent sites for the iPhoneSimFree software hack just to see if it’s been leaked. I don’t have an iPhone nor do I wish to purchase one, but everything else gets leaked onto the Web so I figured this would be no different. Low and behold, what do I find? Oh yeah, the software hack. Oddly enough it came from the Hackint0sh forums, but whatever. I haven’t tested it out, but others are confirming it works. You may need this.

Just because you have the program doesn’t mean it will work. Your phone’s IMEI has to be on iphonesimfree’s database for it to recognize it as a legit unlock. Otherwise, the software is useless (for now anyway).
Forgot to mention, its not really “leaked.” It was officially released Monday. There was a mass email sent from a reseller with the software link to let you prepare your iphone for the server side unlock.
I got mine unlocked with the free code from The iPhone Dev Wiki. All it took is about an hour, amazing!
