Remember Winamp? You know, that program you used to use for playing back stolen MP3s off Napster. Well if you still use it and you own a Wii, you can now stream MP3s through your Wii. Why you’d want to do this, I have no idea.
But I suppose if you’re still using Winamp, you’re the kind of dude who listens to 96Kbps MP3s of Pantera on his Xbox. For the win.

Yes, I remember when downloading a single song took hours over dialup, and we were happy to get 2 kb/s. I also remember hearing about Napster from a news report saying how evil it was…
Um. Yeah. Can the cool kids tell me what’s wrong with Winamp that warrants the sarcasm? Um. Dude?
Remember Winamp? Its like one of the most popular mp3 players ever. Still the choice for many millions of users worldwide….not sure why you are acting like Winamp is dead…
I doubt I have any mp3 at 96Kbps, and specially not Pantera, but Winamp is the choice of many audiophile out there. I’m not sure which app you use now..let me guess, iTunes, because reverend Steve Jobs told you so.
yeah what’s wrong with winamp? i’ve been using it near daily for the past 8 years! so what’s wrong?
winamp ? still use it till today ….
What do you recommend? Memory hogging Windows Media Player???
Scenario:
Primary AV/HT/Gaming equipment in room other than living room.
Wii in Living room for guests and such.
I use/love/have paid for Winamp Pro.
Can stream music to Wii instead of setting up another system.
Cool
Your assertions about winamp users.
Not Cool
PS Winamp can rip to flac. A bit better than 96Kbps Mp3
