You can finally stop jumping through hoops to get that JesusPhone unlocked. The ever dedicated open source community has just unleashed a free GUI based iPhone unlocking app under the name of anySIM. We all knew it was coming and this pretty much seals the deal. It hasn’t been tested much yet so there is obviously a risk with slapping this onto your “investment” but in our opinion, sticking it to Apple and AT&T is worth the risk.

Ok, tried it out … works like a charm.
I bought mine in the SF store, downloaded the required apps at Starbucks around the corner, got in a cab and by the time I was at the airport boarding a plane to Heathrow it was unlocked and ready to rock. Two thumbs up!
