iPod Touch: OS Sold Seperately

by Ilya Kochanov on September 15, 2007

A few people have recently reported that their iPod Touch came with everything except an operating system. In its place was a simple diagnostic utility which shows details on the usual battery, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, WiFi and oh. What’s this? Temperature? Bluetooth? Cheerios? It is unsure whether this is confirmation of a BT chip as a tap on the icon brings up the words “nothing to see here”. Creepy.
