dwalk51:

you're already familiar with the when of folding, but are probably not aware of your own capabilities in the how.

it's nearly trivial in terms of its regularity as well.. i shall elaborate.

the when:
to fold is to having the perception of this higher dimension and make a choice as to the repositioning of the lower dimensional elements. Those choices are biased by the going's on of the lower dimensions. much as moving your hand quickly realizes a blur, so does the moment of the fold. even though the blur does not look like a hand, it does have the same texture and colour characteristics.

the how:
consider the example in the video of the two dimensional critter not having an similar digestive tract. this could be completely faulty as an example because we're all familiar with magnetism, and things like electromagnetism that you can use to turn this attractive field off an on. similarly, a two dimensional organism could easily have a three dimensional-like digestive tract if it was capable of detaching and reattaching portions of itself.. much like closing your mouth, creating vacuum. your lips stay closed.

association and disassociation:
in this way, the minds ability to associate and disassociate incoming sensory signals from the adaptive three dimensional axis of the senses provide the colour and texture, but the ordering is of a blur. this is the precise moment you 'fall asleep'. all of the sudden, in a 'dream', the outside experiential universe is made up of projections from your day primarily, and have characteristics of everyday people, places, and things. and, what was once 'outside' yourself in terms of your 'regular' three dimensional axis of senses, is now 'inside'.
literally, your outsides are inside and your insides are outside, in terms of the sensory input you process.
this sensory input is the 'signal', originating from everywhere, centered on yourself. this is the final dimension, and indeed the creator of all lower dimensions.
easy enough huh?

as for this video itself, the interesting thing about the observer is that it is collapsing the wavefront. thus, the observer is the most relevant aspect, and is in fact causing the quantization of matter. the more associations the greater the chance that the subharmonic nets become entangled and start becoming self referencing, thus leading to new symmetric wavefront collapsing possibilities through groups.

i also posit infinite dimensions, capable by the abstract of mathematics, a language that is pan-temporal. that is, new discoveries project backwards and forwards in time, and thus a set of three sticks by three sticks is nine sticks no matter if you're a caveman or a demigod.

simply proven, multiplication, a linear 'number' thus dimension, in this video seen as a 'point of indeterminate size', and another number, another dimension, if they are prime, multiplied form a unique signature lattice, a two dimensional form, with spacial harmonics inside.

there is proven to be infinite primes, thus, there are infinite dimensions as combination.

observation of those infinite dimensions relates in an infinite lattice, an all of infinity, but in the end, it is the choice that matters. this choice either isn't imposed, thus stability and a happy time in the current configuration, or is imposed, thus chaos and a reshuffling of the two infinite points.

This is dumb this in no way posits what string theory does its a scam through and through.

Warning video is absolute sophistry!

If there is infinite x infinite x infinity ways of being in the 10th dimension, then what happens in the 11th, 12th, 13th dimension as proposed by string theory? Is it possible to have infinity fold onto itself 4, 5 and 6 times... this is where I get lost and sadly where this video ends :-(

I understand this up to that point but fail to understand what possible ways there is to move beyond folding three possible infinities onto themselves - or what possible relevance it has to me making breakfast for myself 10 years ago tomorrow (6th dimension) ;-)

Fascinating stuff... I guess we are now sadly going back to endless "apple" and "phone" reviews.

Actually, I've always subscribed more to the idea that we are in fact 4th dimensional beings. The idea is that time is not the 4th dimension, but in fact the first. Basically, if you start with the dot in the beginning, it has no dimensions, save for the length of its existence; ie time. The line has it's length and its time. The square has its length, width, and time. We have our length, width, height, and time, etc.

One variant I've considered is that if you somehow remove any dimension of an object, it is reduced to the dimension below. However, if you somehow remove an object's time dimension, it simply NEVER exists. Thinking about it this way, time is in fact, not the first dimension, but the "base" or "zero" dimension since ALL other dimensions are useless without it. Looking at it this way, though, we return to being three dimensional beings, but all dimensions 5-10 are reduced by one.

Just some rambling

It mostly makes sense, but I'm unable to understand how we 'fold' through the dimensions.
But I can see how in the fourth dimension I have already watched the video several more times and by then I will have understood all that there is to know about dimensions

So are we going to be able to teleport anywhere anytime soon?
