@Degr8n8:

Yes, because absolutely none of Creative's products use Chinese parts nor are manufactured in China. I'd say the easy majority of Creative's products are made in China, Hong Kong, or Singapore (where their software/driver development team is located).

If the QC2 cans suck, then they suck. It has nothing to do with Chinese manufacturing or Chinese parts.

I purchased the Aurvana X-Fi and was really impressed with the great quality of the product and the high quality of the sound. I used them to watch 7 movies back to back on a long flight. When I took off the headsets, I was reminded how loud the inside of a modern commercial airliner can be. I looked at the Bose Headsets a number of times, but these just seemed better. I will have to go out and try the Bose again, but I must say that after wearing these headsets for 14 hours, I didn't want to take them off...

The volume knob was a really nice touch. And the case makes it easy to keep everything together. I recommend these. I paid full list price, but I'm sure you could do better!

Alright ill tell everyone right here right now that the bose QC2 headsets are HORRIBLE they suck. The main issue with bose is quality yes the quality of their products is horrible. They are made of flimsy plastics and cheapwiring all made in CHINA its just seen as a good product because of its advertisedments so there is no way that this could be worse than it.

Yes, actually - the beefy bass handles gaming (and action movies with lots of explosions) very well, and dialogue is very clear.

Unfortunately, there's no mic attachment, so serious online gamers won't be able to chat. I'd recommend gaming-specific headsets for that.

What does it do for games on the PC? Does the surround sound tech make a difference?
