		<description>If it&#039;s just a USB device why not untether the handwriting recognition pad from the keyboard?  When you want to take handwritten notes just pull it out and plug it in.  Taking up desk space permanently is silly.  But I&#039;d use a stand alone gizmo if it worked.</description>
