Apple Admits To Faulty iPod Touch Screens, Fixing Problem Now

appleipodscreens.jpg

Apple heard the complaints and quietly, oh so quietly, acknowledged that some iPod touch screens are defective. Apple will “remedy” the situation, just not in time for some users. It seems folks have been trying to replace their janky iPods to Apple retail stores but have either had to pay a restocking fee (to the tune of $30-$40) or were told PEBKAC.

See, Apple loves ya, baby.

Apple, simply the worst company in the world buy a product from.

1. They can do no wrong, and often it takes a class action pry bar to make them admit fault.

2. They don’t learn from their mistakes, will the iPod ever have user replaceable batteries. How long did it take to get a two button mouse. How long did it take to dump that sub standard Power PC architechture and go with Intel

3. Smug, bordering on rudeness.. no… rude behavior. Often claiming that if a product is not working out for a customer then it must the customers fault.

4. Poor service at their own stores. You can buy anything at Best Buy and then return it without having you intelligence or lineage questioned. Why have a company store that is soooo badly behaved.

5. Overpriced, see above story on buying the middle.

6. Products that often promote style functionality. iPhone that won’t do many of the simplest functions of standard phones, computers that are closed architechutures, putting lipstick on the pig - power pc poricessor.

Apples face is the cool guy in jeans, but the reality is that they are bad dudes in suits.

1. Apple makes mistakes but seems to remedy them fairly and equitably

2. It was really cool that didn’t need to buttons on their mouse.

3. Why am I so techstupid anyway when Apple explains something 3 different ways and I still don’t get it. duhhhhhhhhh

4. I live in the dumpster outside of my local BestBuy so I gotta be nice to them.

5. Yeah it’s kinda expensive but WTF it’s really cool stuff.

6. Apple computers have always outperformed this piece of shit Dell I have.

7. I gotta dump these calypso pants I’m wearing and trade them in for some jeans.

6.

well????

probably wont, they will stick the consumer with the replacement bill because they know people will keep coming back even though they sell defective products and refuse to do anything about it. I can already see a class action lawsuit from this if they don’t agree to replace them for free

I tried to return my defective ipod touch and they gave me the runaround saying that “Thats how it’s supposed to look like.” I’m going to go back to he apple store everyday until they give me a new one. This is unacceptable for such a big company.
