Those of you still sticking it out with Sprint will be happy to know that next Tuesday is your lucky day. Sprint will be rolling out location based search (LBS) for almost all handsets. Windows Mobile devices are exempt, but all other devices will be able to pinpoint where you are geographically the next time you search from your mobile phone. This means if you’re in a new town and want to find a movie theater or a great local pizza shop, you’ll be able to easily do it without knowing data like zip codes.
Now if only Sprint could provide decent voice coverage…

Straight up honest question. WHERE do you people live? I travel ALL OVER the country. PA NY NJ VA MI TX CO etc.. etc.. What I do by definition puts me usually in the middle or NO WHERE (rocketry)
I have never once had a problem making my cell phone work (sanyo sprint phone) and worst case (I have never had to yet) I can turn on roaming and use Verizon’s entire network too.
WHERE do you people live where you have voice coverage problems? The only places I have NOT been to yet is the far west (California)
I pay $34.53 a month TOTAL and get 500any minutes 7-7 N&W Unlimited mobile to mobile and internet and pic mail and unlimited texting.
My phone will do pretty much anything I want it to. I can browse anywhere I want use any 30 second mp3 or m4a ringer I desire etc.. etc..
Why would you use anything BUT sprint??? I am no fanboy. Just a realist. Verizon rapes you and restricts everything while cingular and tmobile rape you on the data side and have lousy networks (at least in the north east they suck)
