I've been using Vista for around 6 months now and at first it was tremendously painful, now it is only mildly so. I hope that SP1 will continue to improve this situation. Just because it has taken so long and Microsoft didn't reveal a lot of details, everybody was somehow expecting that it would either be really awesome or really bad, and now that neither has happened and it's just a regular service pack with a lot of under-the-hood fixes and not a lot of actual changes everybody sounds somewhat disappointed. Even more hilarious is how people are saying that after running Vista on SP1 for 5 HOURS it's running stable without problems (take that, McLaws!). Just because you opened Word twice and browsed your favorite porn sites doesn't mean you've actually tested it. To really test it you would actually have to know what was fixed, wouldn't you.
