Everyone is taking design cues from Apple and it’s rather apparent when you look at other high-end products. Am I right? Of course I am. If you think I’m wrong then you tell me the Gateway One doesn’t resemble an iMac. The One is encased in metal at just 3.6-inches deep with a 19-inch widescreen LCD. Its plethora of features isn’t ground breaking, but it’s nice to have four USB ports, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AV ports and FireWire. It has a slot loading DVD drive on the side and a 5-in-1-card reader. Wait. I might be wrong about this not being cool.

There are three versions with the entry level model boasting a 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD and an Intel X3100 graphics card. The next one up boosts the processor up to 2GHz, RAM up to 3GB, a 500GB HDD and a Mobility Radeon HD 2600. The entry level is priced at $1,300 and the high-end version is only $500 more. Both models include a hidden 1.3-megapixel Web cam, which is all very similar to the iMac except the processors are being skimped on. So the third model is the middleman with a 400GB HDD and Radeon HD 2600 for $1,500.

The best part is that you can add a mounting kit to hang on a wall, which is pretty cool except it’s only a 19-inch screen. Sort of a bummer, right? You can also add on a USB TV Tuner. Not too bad.
