I got it because my original original was down to 30 minutes of life. After conditioning it 4 times with NewerTech's Intelligent Battery Charger/Conditioner, the battery's life went down to 15 minutes. And the worst of it is that it screwed up the battery so much that the system stopped giving the warning 10 minutes before turning to sleep mode; it would just die, with that 'blip' sound.
