Oops. Guess I let this one slip out a bit early yesterday, but here it is again.

I present to you the Gateway iMac…errr…I mean the Gateway One. A lustrous and chic all in one PC if you can’t tell by the images. The One is encased in metal at just 3.6-inches deep with a 19-inch widescreen TFT active-matrix LCD with 1440×900 resolution. Its plethora of features isn’t ground breaking, but it’s nice to have seven USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth, 802.11 a/b/g/n, AV ports and FireWire. It has a slot loading Super-Multi DVDRW drive on the side and a 5-in-1-card reader (SD, MMC, Memorystick, Memorystick Pro, xD Picture Card). Wait. I might be wrong about this not being cool.

There are two configurations with the entry level model boasts an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD and an Intel GMA X3100 graphics card. The next one up sports a Intel Core 2 Duo T5250, RAM up to 3GB, a 500GB HDD and a Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT MXM with 256MB. The entry level is priced at $1,300 and the high-end version is only $500 more. Both models include a hidden 1.3-megapixel Web cam and mic. Audio is taken care of with a built-in NXT SoundVu system with subwoofer support, an internal digital amp and digital/optical SPDIF jacks.

The best part is that you can add a mounting kit to hang on a wall, which is pretty cool except it’s only a 19-inch screen. Sort of a bummer, right? You can also add on a USB TV Tuner. Not too bad, Gateway.
