Actually it only AUTOMATICALLY syncs when it's plugged in... but you can manually sync at any time. So no unwanted dead battery issues, try again...

"... syncing via WiFi. You come home, you go to bed, you wake up, your library’s updated. That is so cool."

You wake up, your battery is empty. Not cool.

Unless you had your Zune in a (wired) docking station, making a wireless sync pointless.

A wireless sync of songs with another Zune, that would be cool.

As my iPod is on the way out I'm seriously looking at a Zune, although I was hoping for a 160gig. I've got a 40gig iPod now and 110gig of music on my computer. I can never decide what I'll want to listen to a day in advance. Monday I might want to go totally 80's but on Tuesday I might be feeling the need for some Autechre action but I didn't when I woke up. When I woke up I was all about The Beach Boys and Rolling Stones.
That said, most days I'm listening to Soundtracks.

At least uninstalling iTunes means I won't have a the phoneservicesupport.exe (or whatever it's called) running. Seriously Apple, can't you just leave that not running until someone tries to connect a phone to the computer? 8meg of RAM isn't much but it's still something running that doesn't need to be.

I'm excited for this thing to hit store shelves! . . . Personally, the 80gb is of most interest to me. I want to try this pad interface out. Lookin' good.

(Edit: 4th paragraph mentions flash capacities of 8 and 16gb instead of 4 and 8.)
